Are you kidding me? Really! Suing the firearms manufacturer because someone committed a horrible killing using a firearm the manufacturer produced? (“Judge rules in Newtown Suit against gun-maker,” April 15). The bottom line is that the gun had nothing to do with it; the person behind the gun is to blame.

Allowing the case to proceed is an idiotic ruling by Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis. Ponder this, your honor, is it OK to sue a car manufacturer for making the fastest car if someone uses it to kill another person on purpose? Or the truck manufacturer for the biggest truck if used to crush people?

Something else to think about, there are many other semi-automatic rifles on the market and this specific stupid lawsuit is being allowed to move forward simply because of the way that gun looks, nothing else. P.S., your honor, you should be fired.

Wake up America or should I say “Suemerica.” Stop suing everyone for everything, it's ridiculous! Let me also say that I am truly sorry for all those who lost someone in that horrible tragedy in Newtown. Words can’t express how sad it was and must still be for you all. My prayers have gone out to you.
