    GOLF

    Ledyard Parks and Recreation Golf Lessons for Adults and Children — Co-ed classes for adults will be held Thursdays, 6-7 p.m. beginning April 28. Children’s classes for ages 8-up will be held Saturdays, 10-11 a.m., beginning April 30 and Sundays, 10-11 a.m., beginning May 1. All classes run for five weeks and cover the basics of golf: grip, stance, backswing, follow-thru, sand shots, chipping and putting. Chris Hedden will instruct at the Great Brook Golf Center.     Viking Victory Run — Sunday, May 9, East Lyme High School. A 5K (9 a.m.) and kids run (10 a.m.) event to benefit the East Lyme Class of 2016 Drug & Alcohol Free Graduation Party.
