Lukas Graham brings soul-pop to Foxwoods Saturday

Hey, Lukas Graham! Daniel Powter called. He wants his song back. Apparently, the verse melody of your "7 Years" is very, very much like Powter's "You Had a Bad Day."

But wait! Thom Yorke wants the SAME song back — only the Radiohead frontman's complaint would be that the piano intro to "7 Years" is very, very much like the intro to his "Ingénue."

Now, Lukas, at least you credited "It's a Hard Knock Life" from the musical "Annie" when ya'll borrowed it for "Mama Said."

One thought before your record your next single in case you don't have any ideas: "Write" a song called "A Hard Day's Night" and make it sound like the Beatles song called "A Hard Day's Night." I think you'll have a hit!

I don't want to be too hard on Lukas Graham, the Danish soul-pop band who've sold millions. Hell, the songs ARE catchy and, when the band plays Saturday in the Fox Theater at Foxwoods, a crowd of adoring young fans will be screaming along with every tune.

Lukas Graham, 8 p.m. Saturday, Fox Theater; Foxwoods, $55; 1-800-200-2882.
