Swimming advisory issued for Rogers Lake

Old Lyme — A swimming advisory has been issued Friday for Rogers Lake, according to a notice from Ledge Light Health District posted on the town's website.

"Water samples collected at this swimming area indicate excessive bacteria levels," the notice states. "Swimming or wading in these waters is discouraged until further notice."
