Robbery reported at Smokers Discount in Griswold
Griswold — Police are investigating an armed robbery Thursday at Smokers Discount World, 69 N. Main St.
The robbery was reported at 11:20 a.m. It was reported that the store had been robbed by a man who displayed a weapon. Police did not indicate what type of weapon was shown.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket, dark colored jeans, a dark colored hat and tan boots.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives from the state police Eastern District Major Crime Squad responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
