Foxwoods hosts supergroup American Vinyl

There are so many "super groups" floating around that, more and more, you read the band lineup and scratch your head - thinking, I've never heard of ANY of these people!

Not so with American Vinyl, a - yes - super group that includes Jeffrey "Skunk" Baxter (Doobie Bothers/Steely Dan), Barry Goudreau and Fran Sheehan (both formerly of Boston), Leroy "LRS" Romans (The Wailers/3rd World), Robert "Mousey" Thompson (James Brown), and Danny Beissel (Fosterchild).

The chops are impeccable and the variety of styles and history are significant, and that American Vinyl plays Saturday in the Fox Theater at Foxwoods seems to be a no-lose sonic opportunity.
