Officers of manufacturing group named

The Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance, a non-profit collaboration between local manufacturers and schools, named a new board of directors at a meeting last week.

The board will consist of Kelli Vallieres of Sound Manufacturing, president; Raymond Coombs of Westminster Tool, vice president; Karen Veit of KPak Industries, treasurer; Kylee Carbone of Westminster Tool, secretary; Charlie Pious of Unicorr Packaging Group, North Chapter chair; Chris Jewell of Collins & Jewell, South Chapter chair, and Peter Obuchowski of Xuare LLC, education liaison.

Other members are Joe Carlone of Linemaster Switch Corporation and Mary Fitzgerald of Acme Wire Products, outreach; Mike Tripp of the Lee Company, support, and Howard Jenkins and Patrick Larkin, both of Electric Boat.
