Valvano to lead Coldwell Banker in region

Joseph Valvano has been named president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y.

Valvano will lead the company’s sales operations and business development, overseeing the daily operations of its 51 real estate offices and more than 2,200 affiliated sales associates and employees throughout the region. He previously served as the managing broker of the Greenwich and Old Greenwich offices of Coldwell Banker.

He is replacing longtime president Cathleen Smith, who will retire. Acquisitions Smith completed have significantly expanded Coldwell Banker's statewide presence.
