Mohegan Sun veteran named to company post in Pennsylvania

Mohegan — Erica Tessier, a Mohegan Sun employee since the casino’s 1992 opening, has been named vice president of marketing at Mohegan Sun Pocono, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment’s Wilkes-Barre, Pa., facility.

A Norwich Free Academy graduate, Tessier most recently had been Mohegan Sun’s director of consumer promotions. She also has held management positions in such departments as VIP Services, Casino Marketing and Consumer Promotions. She appears in Mohegan Sun’s digital TV series “Back of House,” which recently launched on BackofHouse.TV and YouTube.

“The level of experience that Erica brings to Mohegan Sun Pocono is priceless,” Tony Carlucci, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun Pocono, said in a statement. “She has played an integral role in the success of casino marketing in Connecticut and we are excited to have her bring her insights to our employees and guests.”

In her new job, Tessier will oversee marketing strategy and communications.
