    Women

    No. 22 South Florida 78, Cincinnati 51

    Courtney Williams scored 17 of her 22 points in the first half and South Florida rolled to a win over Cincinnati on Friday night.

    Williams hit 3 of 4 3-pointers and 7 of 10 overall while the Bulls (18-6, 11-3 American) shot 55 percent in the first half for a 38-27 lead.

    Kitija Laksa added 14 points and Maria Jespersen 10 for South Florida, which has won six of its last seven. It was Williams' 15th game this season scoring at least 20.

    Jasmine Whitfield had 14 for the Bearcats (7-17, 3-10), who lost their fourth straight.

    Williams had five points as South Florida jumped to a 9-2 and added five more as the Bulls led 21-11 at the end of one quarter.

    It was 38-27 at the half and 54-41 after three quarters but Laksa scored eight straight for the Bulls, who led by 22 after a Laia Flores trey with 5:39 left.

    South Florida plays at No. 12 Louisville on Monday.

    No. 8 Oregon State 73, Colorado 50

    Sydney Wiese had 15 points and eight assists as Oregon State rolled to its 11th straight victory.

    Jamie Weisner added 16 points and three steals and Deven Hunter had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Beavers (21-3, 12-1 Pac-12).

    Kennedy Leonard had 11 points, Haley Smith added 10 points and eight rebounds, and Jamee Swan also scored 10 for the Buffaloes (6-18, 1-12).

    Oregon State shot 45 percent, compared to 33 percent for Colorado, and the Buffaloes made only 27 percent of their attempts in the second half. The Beavers also outrebounded the Buffaloes 46-37.

    No. 9 Arizona State 64, California 49

    Katie Hempen scored 14 of her 17 points in the second half in helping Arizona State hold off California.

    Hempen made five of her first seven 3-pointers, one shy of her career-high, and was 6 for 9 overall from the field as the Sun Devils (21-4, 12-1 Pac-12) won for the 18th time in 19 games. Sophie Brunner had 11 points and Arnevia Hawkins added 10.

    Courtney Range scored 14 points for the Bears (11-13, 2-11 Pac-12), who have lost nine of 10. Mikayla Cowling added 11 points and Mo Moseley and Gabby Green each had 10.

    Range was 4 for 12 from the field but made all three of her 3-point attempts.

    No. 13 Stanford 82, Arizona 58

    Erica McCall had 12 points and Stanford used quick starts in both halves to win its fifth straight.

    The Cardinal (20-5, 10-3 Pac-12) opened with a 17-2 run and started the third quarter with an 11-2 run to lead 52-23 with 6:03 left in the period.

    Lili Thompson added 11 points and Kaylee Johnson 10 for Stanford, which had its largest lead at 78-44.

    The Cardinal led 38-13 on Brittany McPhee's 3-pointer late in the second quarter before Arizona (11-14, 2-11) had its best run with eight straight points. McPhee hit another 3 before the half to send Stanford into the break with a 20-point lead.

    JaLea Bennett and Michal Miller had 12 points each to lead the Wildcats.

    It was Stanford's first time reaching 80 points in the conference season. The Cardinal host No. 9 Arizona State on Saturday night.

    No. 14 UCLA 73, Washington State 61

    Monique Billings scored half of her 16 points in the fourth quarter and UCLA pulled away from Washington State.

    Kari Korver and Lajahna Drummer had 12 points apiece and Jordin Canada had 11 points and nine assists for the Bruins (18-6, 10-3 Pac-12). Nirra Fields had seven points, seven rebounds and five steals and Billings had nine rebounds and three blocks.

    Borislava Hristova had 16 points for the Cougars (12-12, 3-10), who have lost seven straight.

    Billings' 3-point play and a Drummer bucket at the buzzer gave UCLA a 56-51 lead after three quarters. Taylor Edmondson quickly cut it to two 30 seconds into the fourth quarter. But UCLA took control when Fields' 3 sparked a 13-0 run in a span of less than two minutes.

    The Cougars missed their last five shots and made just 1 for 10 from the field and while committing seven turnovers in the fourth quarter.

    No. 23 DePaul 82, Xavier 52

    Ashton Millender had 15 points and DePaul had six others score at least eight points in a win over Xavier.

    DePaul (20-7, 12-2 Big East) scored the first 11 points of the third quarter to lead 51-21 and the Musketeers got no closer than 28 from there.

    The Blue Demons missed their first seven shots of the game while Xavier started with a 7-0 lead. DePaul then went on a 27-3 run spanning the first two quarters on its way to a 40-21 lead at the half.

    Marquia Turner led Xavier (17-7, 8-5) with 14 points and Imani Partlow added 11.

    Men

    No. 19 Dayton 68, Rhode Island 66

    Darrell Davis made a go-ahead 3-pointer from the corner with 21.1 seconds left and Dayton beat Rhode Island.

    Rhode Island's Four McGlynn missed a 3-pointer with 4 seconds left. Dayton got the rebound, and Steve McElvene made one of two free throws for the Flyers with 0.3 seconds to go.

    Dyshawn Pierre led Dayton (21-3, 11-1 Atlantic 10) with 17 points and also had nine rebounds. Scoochie Smith added 16 points, and Davis finished with eight for the Flyers, who won their ninth straight game.

    McGlynn had 19 points for Rhode Island (14-11, 6-6). Hassan Martin added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

    There were 17 lead changes, three in the final 55 seconds.

    No. 17 Arizona 81, UCLA 75

    Allonzo Trier scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half, Parker Jackson-Cartwright added 16 points and Arizona held off UCLA.

    Arizona (20-5, 8-4 Pac-12) stumbled through a lackluster first half at both ends to trail by 10. The Wildcats tightened up defensively in the second and took advantage of UCLA's foul trouble to wear down the Bruins.

    UCLA (13-11, 4-7) had centers Thomas Welsh and Tony Parker foul out in a span of 42 seconds late in the second half and Arizona took advantage by pounding the ball inside.

    Kaleb Tarczewski and Ryan Anderson combined for 27 rebounds, and Arizona made 29 of 45 free throws in the foul-filled game.

    Isaac Hamilton scored 24 points and Bryce Alford had 17 for UCLA.

    Arizona State 74, No. 23 USC 67

    Tra Holder scored 20 points, Savon Goodman added 17 and Arizona State knocked off USC.

    Nikola Jovanovic had 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Trojans (18-6, 8-4 Pac-12), who would have been within a half-game of first-place Oregon in the Pac-12 with a victory. Gerry Blakes added 14 for Arizona State.

    The Sun Devils (14-11, 4-8) have won two conference games in a row for the first time this season.

    Arizona State took the lead with a 10-2 run to start the second half and never trailed again.
