Sun host Storm on Friday night

The Connecticut Sun look to snap a four-game home losing streak tonight at Mohegan Sun Arena when they play host to the Seattle Storm Friday night at 7 p.m. (MyTV9).

The Sun (8-8) are a game behind Indiana for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Seattle (5-14) has lost seven of its last 10 and sits in fifth place in the Western Conference.

The Storm enter with two notable players for Connecticut women's basketball fans: former UConn greats Sue Bird and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis. Bird played at Mohegan Sun Arena during last week's All-Star game, while Mosqueda-Lewis, the third overall pick in the 2015 draft, has played sparingly for Seattle. She's averaging 2.9 points and has appeared in 13 of the Storm's 19 games.

Connecticut is coming off an overtime loss to Indiana at Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday night. The Sun travel to Indiana Sunday and are at home twice next week, Tuesday vs. San Antonio and Friday vs. Washington.
