Wade - Cometa

Mr. and Mrs. Christopher and Karen King of Ledyard are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Wade, to Anthony Cometa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Josephine Cometa of Gales Ferry. Both graduated from Ledyard High School in 2005.

Melanie graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College in 2009. She is employed as a music teacher at Grasso Technical High School. Anthony graduated from Purdue University in 2009. He is employed as a senior engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat.

The couple lives in Ledyard and will marry in August 2015.
