Paranormal investigators to check out Hempsted houses
The Ghosts of New England Research Society will explore Connecticut Landmarks’ 1678 Joshua Hempsted House and the adjacent 1759 Nathaniel Hempsted House on Friday, May 15.
The public is invited to join a conversation beforehand to hear and see what the investigators are doing and ask questions. The talk will begin at 5:15 p.m.; the site will close to the public at 6:45 p.m. so that the investigation can proceed.
The investigators will return in late summer or early fall to share their findings publicly.
Admission for the May 15 event is $10 per person; $8 for Connecticut Landmarks members.
The Hempsted houses are at 11 Heampstead St., New London.
