Holmberg Orchards & Winery will host its third annual Pop-Up Farmer’s Market on Sunday, May 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featured will be more than 30 farmers and artisan vendors, wine tasting, wagon rides through the orchards, music by Pork Chop Express and food trucks.
New this year at the market is a food drive to benefit the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center in New London. Market attendees are asked to donate at least one nutritious food item.
Expected products in the market include, but are not limited to: cheeses, breads, pasture-raised meats, free-range eggs, fresh pasta, fingerling potatoes, lettuce and braising greens, turnips, kale, soy wax candles, hand-painted signs on reclaimed wood, dog treats, marinara sauce and salsas, local honey, baked goods, kettlecorn and candy.
