Pride and joy: OutCT hosts New London Pride Festival

OutCT brings its summer pride festival back to New London this weekend.

On Saturday at Hygienic Art Park, the day promises an opening ceremony boasting the Hartford Gay Men's Chorus, followed by concerts by musicians — dance-pop duo XELLE at 9 p.m. and ArleneWow! at 7 p.m., among them — as well as a drag contest and "Pride Idol." And things move to Ocean Beach Park on Sunday, with performances, vendors and more.
