It's a proven fact — both scientifically and in courts of law — that it's impossible to listen to the Rock 'n' Soul Revue and not dance happily and maniacally. As such, it's a great thing the band is playing the Great Futures Benefit Dance Friday at Ocean Beach Park in New London. Great Futures is a program engineered by the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Connecticut to help guarantee that every young person who joins the organization is on track to graduate from high school with a solid plan for the future. Along with the great music, light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, the fun includes an auction and raffle of items including Patriots tickets, artwork by local artists, catering services, Visa gift cards, jewelry and more.
