It's not certain whether the manager or how many of the players/coaches/front office honchos/former stars will show up — or on which day — at the fourth annual Red Sox Winter Weekend galla, taking place Friday through Sunday at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

I can tell you who won't be there, though. Giancarlo Stanton, Mike Judge and Gary Sanchez. Those particular serial killers play for the Yankees. J.D. Martinez won't be there, either. He's still a free agent and, though the Sox could desperately use him, well, who knows?

And, finally, unless you already have tickets, you probably won't be there, either. All three days are already sold out.

In the meantime, let's think positive! If you DO have tickets, this should be great fun. There are plenty of gregarious stars from the 2017 American League East champs who are likely appear, and there's no shortage of scheduled activities. They include autograph and photo sessions, panels and "town hall" meetings, a Red Sox history archive, actual Fenway Park food, live NESN broadcasts, and a children's breakfast with mascot Wally.
