After two years off, the Celebrate East Lyme festival will take place on Saturday on Niantic's Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Starting at 3 p.m., nearly 200 vendors and activities will pop up along the pedestrian-only street, selling everything from popcorn to candles to raffle tickets, and more.

Events will include a musical performances by The Second Chance and other local bands, food trucks, a sand castle competition, St. John's annual carnival, and plenty of family fun.

The event wraps up with a Dominion-sponsored fireworks display at McCook Point Park — but it will be visible throughout Niantic and along the coast, so set up a chair on one of Niantic's beaches and enjoy the show without the crowd.

Come celebrate the town, its business owners, volunteers, and citizens this summer and enjoy everything East Lyme has to offer.
