Artist Academy resumes Jan. 22
Hygienic Art will begin the second trimester of Artist Academy @ Hygienic on Jan. 22.
The Artist Academy is an educational workshop series focused on the business of art. Following its first trimester about shaping a business, the second trimester workshops delve into financial education and the importance of presentation.
Workshops in the second trimester include "Enlighten Your Audience: Writing an Artist Statement from the Inside Out" (Jan. 22); "Pay Uncle Sam and Build a Business" (Tuesday, Feb. 24); and "Protect Your Art" (Tuesday, March 24).
Registration for the second trimester opens on Tuesday, Jan. 6. For more information and to register, visit hygienic.org. The registration fee for the second trimester is $25. Space is limited.
