The names of the gourmet food trucks coming to Mystic this weekend make the mind reel and the stomach gurgle: The Cannoli Truck. Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes. And, for happily international flavors, Buon Appetito, Ay! Arepa and Poutine Gourmet.

More than 30 food trucks will bring their delicious dishes to the Mystic Aquarium parking lot for the Second Annual Mystic Food Truck Rally.

The event is presented by Ocean Blue Catering, a subsidiary of Mystic Aquarium that's a catering and event planning company. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit Mystic Aquarium's programs of conservation, education and research.

Ocean Blue Catering will be offering its own fare at the rally, in the form of a lobster roll.

By the way, if Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes sounds familiar, this might be why: it won the Food Network's "Cupcake Wars." And it offers such creative concoctions as the Jimmy Buffett — a pineapple coconut cake soaked in rum, topped with coconut cream cheese frosting, fresh pineapple bits, a cherry and, naturally, a cocktail umbrella.
