Brule, Kosta and Makowicki honored by the CHSCA

An athletic director, a current coach and a former coach from the Eastern Connecticut Conference will be among the honorees when the Connecticut High School Coaches Association honors its coaches of the year.
Fitch boys' track coach Rich Kosta, Norwich Free Academy athletic director Gary Makowicki and former Waterford girls' soccer coach Rob Brule - who retired after the 2013 season - will be honored at a dinner on May 14 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.
E.O. Smith boys' basketball coach Ron Pires, a NFA graduate, is also among the honorees.
