    Senior all-star football game this Saturday

    Those desperate for football season to arrive can get some to tide them over until fall when the Connecticut High School Coaches' Association Super 100 All-Star Game is played Saturday at Rentschler Field in East Hartford at 4:30 p.m.

    Eastern Connecticut will be well-represented on Team Nutmeg as it features Bryan Cespedes (offensive lineman), Jelani Lucas (receiver), Danny Maranda (quarterback) and Troy Gray (defensive back) of New London, Dwayne Brown (Ledyard) and Leo Clinton (inside linebacker) of Ledyard, Justin Cheverier (outside linebacker) and Chris Jean-Pierre (receiver) from CIAC Class S-Large champion Valley Regional/Old Lyme and offensive linemen Marc D’Elia (NFA) and Andrew Kenniston (Waterford). New London head coach Duane Maranda is in charge of Team Nutmeg.

    Ledyard’s Phyllip Thomas (receiver) and Rashan Young (inside linebacker) and Stephen Agnatovech (offensive lineman) and Khaleed Exum-Strong (running back) of Norwich Free Academy are on Team Constitution.
