Explain to me, a concerned grandmother, how all businesses can be shoveled out and the children of New London came last? On Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. plows and workers were making sure downtown was plowed out, but not the schools. The taxpayers need to look at this as hard as they do trying to make sure no children are left behind. We get a snowstorm and New London forgot the hundreds of children who also are important. Prioritize, that's the key, and all schools should have been done before downtown bar fronts.
