I worked for many years in an institution. I can recall many people who, on the first day of daylight saving time, would appear an hour late and say, "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry, I forgot to set my clock ahead." However, in the fall I never once encountered a staff member appearing an hour early because he/she forgot to set the clock back. There must be an explanation. Anyone have a guess?
