    System is broken

Your editorial, “Tsarnaev sentence,” (May 19), points out, once again, the great short-coming in the U.S. Justice System; the lengthy appeals process.

What did we have a jury for? They found him guilty, and death should be delivered quickly without what amounts to another trial. And who pays for this continuance in keeping the guilty man alive? You do, Mr. and Mrs. taxpayer, and the cost is not low to shelter, feed, clothe, and watch this convicted killer.

    Why have juries at all?
