Replace state's liberal leaders of failure

I often ask myself, with so much of Connecticut suffering, “Why do we keep returning the same failed party, and the same failed representatives, who support the same failed ideas, back into office?” We have two senators and five members of the U.S. House of Representatives who cling to the failed ideas of big, intrusive government, rising taxes, overspending, failed economic policies and a dangerously weak and naïve presence in the world. These are not leaders, but followers, as timid as church mice. We have been represented by the liberal wing of politics, a failed section of political thought.

Connecticut needs balance. It needs new blood. It needs people, men and women, who think differently and have new ideas, who want smaller more effective constitutional government, lower taxes on individuals and small and large businesses, a stronger military, and courage in the face of evil, among other more conservative policies. Why our state swings exactly opposite of a nation that is finally waking up is beyond me. It makes no sense.

It’s time for us to replace the old, the Murphys, Blumenthals, DeLauros, Himes, Courtneys, Larson, Looneys and the Malloys, to name a few. They are the leaders of failure.
