People simply accept repeated political lies

It is too expensive to live or to die in the "great" state of Connecticut.

Whatever happened to Governor Malloy's promises, especially the promise not to raise taxes? Everyone seems to be upset about what is happening, but most people feel that there is little that can be done. The attitude is, "Why bother? It's just a waste of time." Politicians lie to get elected; they lie to promote and pass legislation. They do it and get away with it. It is past boring.

When you call the offices of these elected politicians, you get people who don't even know what you are talking about. I am sure they pass along to their respective employers the concerns the caller constituent has.

There is no place to go; no place to hide, and oh, yes, just remember when you go to Rocky Neck or Hammonasset State Parks, with the new added sales tax on the entrance fee, you just better have the exact change. And with the removal of the fee maximum cap at the Connecticut Probate courts, I suggest moving to another state when you decide to die.

You can't make this stuff up.
