Let military travelers use pre-check status

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is all in a dither about how to get ready for the summer travel rush. They admit that three hours is too long to wait for a two-hour flight. I propose a no-cost solution. Immediately grant TSA Pre-Check status to all active duty and retired military personnel (and their families). If they were good enough to use guns, tanks, missiles, ships and aircraft to defend us, surely we can trust them with more than two ounces of hair tonic or a can of spray deodorant.
Come on, bureaucrats, use your heads for something other than making dumb statements to television news reporters.
