All politicians complicit

I am glad that Dave Collins found a new angle for opposing the inflammatory rhetoric of the Donald Trump campaign. But I have to disagree with the basic premise of his column “Connecticut GOP’s Trump Honor Roll” (July 8). Donald Trump's success is a product of the current political culture in this country, a culture which every politician, Republican and Democratic, is complicit in and profits from. Praising any politician for speaking out against Trump is like praising (Fox News CEO) Roger Ailes for speaking out against sexual assault.
