    Leadership failing the country

The thin blue line that protects this Republic is in serious trouble. Dallas is a warning sign of things to come. When the casualty rate in a police department is higher than the casualty rate of a day’s fighting in the war on ISIS we are in trouble. The pathetic political leadership of this nation sits in their royal palaces in Washington, D.C. and does nothing. The effects of war and demonizing our police officers has been showing its effect for a long time. Our leadership has failed the minorities in large cities since the 1960s.

Yet the Democrats keep promising but doing nothing. Keep the votes coming folks, their favorite word. Jobs keep disappearing overseas as we become world citizens. In Connecticut state marshals have disappeared from courtrooms. Local police departments are losing officers.

Yet, we can afford a $100 million highway from New Britain to Hartford? A $20 million overpass to the USCG Museum? The loss of General Electric to Massachusetts? The loss of retirees and young people from Connecticut? Law enforcement did not cause this problem. Look to Hartford and Washington, think about it when you step into the voting both in November.
