The NRA and the Republican Party and their nominee for President, Donald Trump, want more Americans to carry firearms!

Trump, at a rally after the 49 people were murdered at the Pulse Nightclub, said that "if one or more patrons had guns that could put a bullet between the eyes of the shooter, wouldn't that be beautiful!"

Well, in both the recent Louisiana and Minnesota shootings, both African-American men carried legal firearms and that led to police officers shooting and killing both men.

Having guns isn't the end-all to solving violence. Usually it's the main cause of violence in the U.S.A.

Also, why do we need assault weapons that can shoot close to 100 bullets a minute bought by normal citizens? They are made specifically for wars and soldiers.
