I appreciate The Day’s coverage of the recent dredging event held in New London, “Malloy leads support for eastern Long Island Sound dredge disposal site,” (Aug. 17). This is a case where federal officials, principally Rep. Joe Courtney, state officials, legislators, local officials, private citizens and members of both political parties, are all working together for the same goal. Connecticut has a wonderful case to make in support of the recommendations made by the Environmental Protection Agency. Everyone here is pulling in the same direction and I think that is of note to your readers.
