Formica: Loving father and great senator

Throughout these past two years, I have worked closely with Paul Formica and gotten to know him as a kind, hard-working, collaborative state senator. When shoreline homeowners were shocked to find their home-heating propane supplies were suddenly being taxed, Paul stepped into action and worked across the aisle to get legislation passed that solved the problem. When folks across the 20th District became concerned about opioids, it was Paul who stepped into action and helped host forums across the district. When accidents happen on I-95 between Old Lyme and East Lyme, it is always Paul on the front lines demanding better from the state DOT.

In addition to being an excellent senator, Paul is a loving father to his four children and a generous business owner, always willing to support local charities and groups that support our kids, including the Friends of Music in Lyme/Old Lyme.

Paul is everything we should want in a senator; he cares about people and he is always willing to step up to do what’s right. The people of the 20th would be well served if Paul is re-elected and I hope you will join me in voting for him on Nov. 8.

    State Rep. Devin Carney (R)

    Old Lyme
