Time to end the Trumpian complaints

Why do you pitiful whiners continue to flog The Day's editorial page with grief about the president "we" all elected. A stumble bum, indeed. A liar in sync with the politicians who have steered our country as long as any of us can recollect? Most certainly. The picture of arrogance is he.

We the people however, are the very same voters who took chances on Sonny Bono, "Ah-nold" and Clint Eastwood. How many of us questioned the logic of making a president out of a guy named Reagan, a Hollywood celeb who co-starred with a monkey named Bonzo? Donald Trump was already good at talking out of both sides of his mouth, a trait American voters seem to feel is an asset. It keeps us, the little people, angry and in the dark.

It’s been said many times that The Day (and their inept rival up the river), sit far too left and liberalistic. Both could and should increase circulation by offering more moderated viewpoints.

And readers, if any last one of you thinks Hillary Clinton would have been a better chief executive, you are simply in a fit of illusion.

But don't worry. After four years, we'll be lucky to never hear either of those two names mentioned again.
