I found your front page news “A peek into Sound View parking” confusing. What is it really about?

You should have followed up with the commercial street and how 90 spots have been removed by the town and the Sound View Commission, which has caused several businesses to close their doors and chased families away.

You would think the town would have kept parking for customers and eliminated some of these private parking lot spots to make the crowds smaller.

The new street is a disaster and a waste of $1,000,000 of Connecticut taxpayers' money. After DOT inspected the road they said it was done poorly and needs to be redone in the fall. There are bump-outs in front of new developments!

The only good accomplishment at the beach this year was Miami Beach putting up a fence and making a safe and enjoyable beach again.

You need to talk to other people who live at the beach instead of the same clique of people who are destroying the area with their mindless ideas. There are several people trying to fix up the beach, and all they get is opposition from the same people.
