“We'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne." What’s a cup of kindness?

Should old friends be remembered with happy thoughts defined?

So let’s lift a glass, to salute the past, and leave any bad thoughts behind.

While we all cheer being here and make the coming year more kind.
