Pain and difficulty opening 'safe' packaging

As an adult with arthritis who has also had some small hand bones removed, I have a complaint. There are so many child-resistant packages on the market for everything from mouth wash to dishwasher detergent. I have a variety of tools to open finicky packaging, mini rotary power saws to open clam shells, all kinds of cap and can openers, pliers, even Robot Grips in my utility drawer.

None of them work on the dreaded squeeze and twist caps.

Recently, I managed to puncture my hand with a screwdriver trying to break the tabs to open a new container of dishwasher soap. I have taken hammers to some items or asked friends to open them for me. Whenever I buy a can of spray paint I have the salesperson open it for me before I leave.

Many over-the-counter medications are available in arthritis packaging. I can even get my prescription drugs with easy open caps. Why can't these other everyday products be packaged so that impaired adults can open them?

While I await production of easier packaging, does anyone know of a product that would make these squeeze and turn or lift products easier to open? Inventors out there, please help!
