    Local lawmakers schedule series of town hall meetings

    Local state lawmakers have released a schedule for a series of town hall meetings to talk with constituents throughout southeastern Connecticut this month to discuss the upcoming legislative session.

    State Sen. Paul Formica, R-East Lyme, and state Reps. Holly Cheeseman, R- East Lyme; Kathleen McCarty, R-Waterford; Mike France, R-Ledyard, and Chris Soto, D- New London, are among the legislators holding town hall meetings and office hours.

    The town hall meetings are open to the public and will take place at the following locations and times:

    • Salem on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 5 p.m. in the Salem Town Hall, 270 Hartford Road, Salem

    • East Lyme on Monday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m. in the East Lyme Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic

    • New London on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 6 p.m. at the Public Library of New London, 63 Huntington St., New London

    • Waterford on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at 7:15 p.m. in the Waterford Town Hall, 15 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford

    • Montville on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. in the Montville Town Hall, 310 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville
