Forum on farm, forest and open space land Feb. 26 in Stonington

Stonington — The Economic Development Commission will hold a public forum on the state public act that governs farmland, forests and open space and how it can be used to lower a property owner’s tax bill from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at the La Grua Center in the borough.

The event is free and open to the public. The snow date is March 15. Anyone with questions can call EDC member Ward Smith at (860) 235-9180.
