June slots revenue up at both casinos

Both Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun saw increases in monthly slot revenue from June 2017 to June 2018.

Foxwoods reported slots revenue of $40.1 million for June 2018, a 5.7 percent increase compared to June 2017. Mohegan Sun reported slot revenue of $49.4 million, a 0.26 percent increase from June 2017.

Foxwoods' handle – or the total amount bet prior to payout – rose 3.5 percent, while it went up 1.1 percent for Mohegan Sun.

The casinos give a quarter of their monthly slots revenue to the state, meaning Foxwoods contributed $10 million and Mohegan Sun contributed $12.3 million.
