Bradenton, Fla. — Southern Connecticut State University's Shatajah Wattely, a junior from Montville, has qualified for the finals in all four of her events at the NCAA Division II track and field championships at IMG Academy.

On Thursday, Wattely placed sixth in the 100-meter dash preliminary in 11.73 seconds, then ran the anchor led on SCSU's 4x100 relay team, which also qualified sixth in 45.84.

She followed that up Friday night by grabbing the eighth and final qualifying spot in the 200 (24.07) before anchoring the 4x400 relay team to a sixth-place finish (3:42.37).

All four finals will take place Saturday and Wattely is guaranteed All-American status in each event.

In addition, New London senior Michael Lee will take part in the men's triple jump for the Owls.
