Waterford ousted from New England Babe Ruth baseball tournament

Trumbull — Waterford's bid to win the New England Babe Ruth 14-year-old baseball tournament ended Tuesday morning with a 7-3 loss to Keene (N.H.) in the quarterfinals.
Waterford, the District 6 and Connecticut champions, went 2-2 in the tournament.
Keene will play the host team, Trumbull, in the semifinals. Trumbull defeated Brattleboro (Vt.) 5-3.
