    Bandits roll to easy 20-7 win over Black Wolves

    Mohegan — Vaughn Harris had four goals and five assists as the Buffalo Bandits rolled to a 20-7 National Lacrosse League victory over the New England Black Wolves on Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.

    The Black Wolves (6-6) have little time to rest as they hit the road on Saturday to play the Georgia Swarm in Atlanta at 7 p.m.

    Kevin Crowley had three goals and an assist for New England.

    The game was tied at 2-2 midway through the opening period when the Bandits (7-7) scored three straight goals in the closing minutes to open a 5-2 lead.

    A goal by Mitch Jones, his third in a row, upped the lead to 6-2 in the second before Latrell Harris scored with just 4.2 seconds left to give the Bandits a 7-2 halftime lead.

    New England got within three early in the second half on goals by Stephan Leblanc and Colton Watkinson, but a goal by Jordan Durston begame a 12-0 run by Buffalo, putting the Bandits in complete control.

    Dhane Smith added eight points (two goals, six assists) for Buffalo while Crowley scored all three of his goals in the fourth quarter for the Black Wolves.
