Special guests Santa Claus and "Salvo" the Salvation Army's mascot trade smiles Friday as the New London Corps of the Salvation Army hosts its annual Kettle Kickoff ceremony for the 2014 holiday season at Crystal Mall in Waterford. The ceremony also focused on the Salvation Army's need for volunteer bell ringers for this year's campaign.
