A one-hour program about the need for more affordable housing will air on public access television, Channel 12 in Groton, at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Those who do not receive Channel 12 may watch the program online at www.youtube.com/results?search_query=lwvsect. Metrocast and Nutmeg TV public access are also airing the series.

"CT Affordable Housing" is the third episode in a series called "Democracy is NOT a Spectator Sport", presented by The League of Women Voters of Southeastern Connecticut. A moderator from the league will interview a panel of four people involved in different aspects of affordable housing, and explain the difference between rental and owner-occupied affordable housing, who lives there, why it's needed and who is eligible.
