Workers with the Mystic Seaport's Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard along with crew of the Mayflower II load bars of lead ballast into the ship, a 1957 replica of the ship that carried the Pilgrims to Massachusetts in 1620, Monday, May 4, 2015.
The ship, which is being restored in a cooperative effort between the seaport and Plimoth Plantation, will be refloated later this week in preparation to return to Plymouth for the summer tourism season.
