Information meeting on Sound View project scheduled for Tuesday

Old Lyme — A public information meeting for the Route 156 bikeway and Sound View improvement project is scheduled for Tuesday.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School.

The Sound View Improvement Committee is recommending upgrades to Hartford Avenue as the first phase of the project, according to a Board of Selectmen discussion earlier this month.

The upgrades would encompass widened sidewalks, bike lanes and redesigned street parking.
