Sunday afternoon, the National Theatre of the Deaf is kicking off a multi-day run of free shows for all ages at the Hygienic Art Park in New London.

NTD will be performing in collaboration with students from its first Theatre Immersion Program, a 10-day summer session for deaf and hearing high school students.

The show will call upon elements of storytelling, fable and improvisation, and it's titled "The W5: The Stories Behind Who, What, Where, When & Why." It'll be performed in American Sign Language and spoken word.

    Sunday's show will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Other NTD dates at Hygienic Art Park, 79 Bank St., are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, 6 p.m. Thursday — both of those shows include Theatre Immersion Program students — and with NTD performers only at 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and concluding at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.
