New London invites public to roadwork informational meeting
New London — The City’s Public Works Department will host a neighborhood informational meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 26, to discuss planned roadwork in the area of Dell Avenue and Henry, Charles and Sander streets.
Improvements will include work on curbing, sidewalks, storm drains and eventually pavement replacement.
The work had been delayed due to work by Eversource Energy to replace gas lines in the area.
The meeting will be held at from 6 to 8 p.m. in the City Council meeting room at City Hall.
The meeting will be an open format presentation with a question-and-answer period.
