Old Lyme — The Executive Committee of the LEARN Governing Board has voted to appoint Angela Lynn Nenni as chief financial officer of the regional educational service center.

She will begin on Sept. 21.

Nenni comes to LEARN from Enfield, where she served as financial director for the past eight years.

She also has been the director of financial reporting for the UConn Foundation and as the director of finance for New London.

Nenni earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and her master's in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.

“We are so fortunate to have 'Lynn' Nenni join us," said Eileen S. Howley, LEARN's executive director in a statement. "Her knowledge and expertise, combined with her collaborative and approachable style, will continue to ensure that LEARN’s finances are well managed. She will be an asset to the agency.”

LEARN is a Regional Educational Service Center working with and for its member districts to improve the quality of public education.
